Track-type tractor operator — Cottle County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Cottle County, Texas. You will be based on a road construction project. Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals You should have: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
