Vacancy available: rough terrain crane operator (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Paulding County, Georgia. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
