Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Sutton County, Texas. On a typical shift you will lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system. What we are looking for: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
