Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Darke County, Ohio. You will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
