Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Your main tasks: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Full-time, day shift.
