Brick and block layer • Orolu, Osun State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Orolu, Osun State. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
