Fettler wanted in Kaga

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Kaga, Borno State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
