Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in North Yorkshire, England. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Six days a week, one day off.
