Port container crane operator • Malumfashi, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Malumfashi, Katsina State. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On a typical shift you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Rotating shifts.
