Tig welder • Katcha, Niger State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Katcha, Niger State. The role involves: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
