Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Carson County, Texas. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
