Join our team: we are hiring a tyre technician in Ibi, Taraba State. The job is at a roadside mobile fitting unit. You should have: • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Day-to-day duties: • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches Overtime paid at a premium rate.
