Immediate opening: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Jere, Borno State. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
