We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Multnomah County, Oregon. The job is at a power plant. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Part-time with flexible hours.
