Join our team: we are hiring a grill cook in Effingham County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $31 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
