Finishing presser — Escambia County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Escambia County, Florida. The job is at a garment factory. Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Part-time with flexible hours. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
