Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection On the job you will handle: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
