Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Douglas County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 2+ years on the tools preferred. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
