Tower crane operator wanted in Gumel

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Gumel, Jigawa State. You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Full-time with occasional weekends.
