Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Dala, Kano State. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Part-time with flexible hours.
