Urgent requirement: tracked excavator operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Morris County, Kansas. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Your main tasks: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
