Now hiring: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Carson City, Nevada. You will work in an open-cast quarry. Your main tasks: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Pay around $260 per day, based on your experience.
