What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish.
