Catering cook • Custer County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring a catering cook in Custer County, Idaho. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks Ideal candidate: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
