Furniture maker wanted in Todd County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furniture maker in Todd County, Kentucky. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists On the job you will handle: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Six days a week, one day off. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
