Fabricator-welder wanted in Oglethorpe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
