Urgent requirement: we are hiring a retail butcher in Cedar County, Missouri. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Day to day you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
