Now hiring: we are hiring a smash repairer in Douglas County, Nebraska. The job is at a paint and panel shop. Ideal candidate: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Day-to-day duties: • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
