Bakery assistant • Ondo West, Ondo State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Ondo West, Ondo State. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker 6+ years on the tools preferred.
