Join our team: we are hiring a plasterer in Will County, Illinois. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Your main tasks: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
