Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Surulere, Lagos State. The job is at a cake shop. Day to day you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
