Shakeout operator • Jaba, Kaduna State

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Jaba, Kaduna State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
