Immediate opening: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Grant County, New Mexico. Day to day you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
