Overhead (EOT) crane operator • DeKalb County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in DeKalb County, Illinois. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
