Confectioner — Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Washington County, Oregon. You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • 2+ years' experience as a baker Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
