Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Ofu, Kogi State. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day to day you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
