Canteen cook • Cass County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Cass County, Nebraska. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. On a typical shift you will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
