Foundry operative • Dimmit County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Dimmit County, Texas. Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
