Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Paikoro, Niger State. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. You will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
