Urgent requirement: we are hiring a canteen cook in McLennan County, Texas. The job is in a hospital or office canteen. You should have: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies On a typical shift you will prepare the mise en place before each service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
