The role involves test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; read and clear ECU fault codes; trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults; repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits; diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner; fit car stereos, reverse cameras and dashcams. You should have: • Knowledge of CAN-bus and modern ECU systems • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner Rotating shifts.
