Horticulturist — Anglesey

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Anglesey, Wales. The job is in a public park. You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules The role involves apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades.
