Immediate opening: we are hiring a stone mason in Kumbotso, Kano State. The job is on a residential building site. Requirements: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Your main tasks: • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
