Join our team: we are hiring a joiner in Nottoway County, Virginia. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience The role involves finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
