Protective coatings painter — Lyon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Lyon County, Kansas. You will work in a factory paint shop. Day to day you will lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; sand and fill walls before applying primer; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers 5+ years on the tools preferred. $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
