Milling machinist — Markurdi

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Markurdi, Benue State. You will work in a die and mould making unit. On a typical shift you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Full-time with occasional weekends.
