Head butcher wanted in Shawnee County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Shawnee County, Kansas. The job is at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Day-to-day duties: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
