Gantry crane operator wanted in Schleicher County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Schleicher County, Texas. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
