Vacancy available: ladle pourer (Plateau State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Kanke, Plateau State. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
