Ironing operator wanted in Birnin Kudu

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State. You will be based in a garment export house. On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
